Penélope’s multicultural upbringing shapes her unique perspective. Born in Mexico and raised in Costa Rica, Peru, and Jamaica, she later studied Strategic Design & Management at Parsons in New York, complementing her studies with a semester in Paris exploring Art and Philosophy.
Penélope, who also honed her expertise in Fashion History at the London College of Fashion, set out with a mission to redefine the influencer culture dominating social media. Her vision is clear: to create content that not only entertains but also informs.
In 2022, Penélope's talents were recognized when she was invited to participate in the TikTok segment of Diane Pernet’s A Shaded View on Fashion Film Festival, curated by Ivo Barraza Castaneda. Her videos were showcased at 3537, Comme des Garçons Culture Center in Paris.
Currently, Penélope works with various clients in the industry to preserve and celebrate their heritage by creating research videos for social media that explore their history and impact on fashion.
